Ian-Duncan Ball was born in New York City to a father who was an  Bureau chief Correspondant for a British newspaper  and a Mother who wrote Fashion articles for Look and Life magazines , Adventurous parents took him to some of the most remote inhabited  places in the world, Travelling  was always a great thrill and seeing the most exotic visuals in foreign places has always been a great thrill to him, from living on a south Pacific Island to witnessing Haitian voodoo ceremonies , his quest for new visual treats is what inspires him. capturing those images   with a camera and sharing them is an added bonus.

Duncan , as he is known to everyone , graduated from Brooks Institute in California , now lives in Brooklyn but always itching  to go somewhere or meet  someone new. He feels comfortable in a complicated studio lighting situation or out in the streets photographing whatever the client neeeds.
